Requiem to Sanity by BelladonnaTea |
a dark mass of images parade pass the darkest of trees the mournful scream of the wind mingling with the faint cries emitting from the casket the coffin, so sleek against the sudden rain glimmering with an ethereal glow the wood scraping as the figure inside fights and claws its lost cause the tombstones silhouette nothing but ghosts growing clearer and clearer as the parade marches on a gaping hole, like the vortex to true darkness staring at them gazing at them with a dead stare lowering the coffin slowly scraping against the earthen walls ashes to ashes dust to mud gently thumping against the bottom silent screams echoing within the well built wood the last sound it hears is its scream mingled with the soft drops of dirt that fell upon the coffin the glow fading into a glazed shine as it finally was covered as the sanity slowly and steadily withered away drowning in its own tears the screams slowly fading away |
