As the sun rises in the sky The day becomes sunny and bright But then clouds appear and cover The sun, as eyes turn up to the sky Which is now dark and full of rain clouds Out in the open as the first drops of rain Begin to fall from the clouds above Head tilted up, arms stretched out To the sides, getting soaked Right through as clothes cling To soft flesh as drops of rain Fall even harder than before Letting drops fall onto her face Eyes closed tight letting the rain Mix with tears as she weeps With thoughts of memories past
